AI in April: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

This presentation explores AI’s opportunities and challenges through the lens of practical EPO experience. After a brief overview of the rise of LLMs and current debates around data privacy, intellectual property, and the possibility of artificial general intelligence (AGI), the talk highlights real-world examples of how AI tools can support EPO activities. Together, these examples illustrate both the promise and the pitfalls of AI for the astronomy outreach community.
